With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lawrence Odell Myrick (Soso, Mississippi), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 29, 2025 at the age of 99. He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Alice Hill Myrick; his son Bill Myrick; his grandson Jason Helton; his great grandchild Lake Gray; and his siblings, Opal Myrick, Virgie Myrick Mauldin, Lorraine Myrick Matthews, Flora Myrick Knight, Verlon Myrick Chancellor, Otho Myrick, Doyle Myrick, Lavell Myrick, Lowell Myrick and D. W. Myrick.
He is survived by: his daughters, Linda Helton, Rosemary Hill (Nelson) and Donna Brooks (B. L.); his grandsons, Michael Helton, Robby Gray, Randy Gray, Dr. Rich Gray, Dr. Russell Gray and Heath Hulon; and his son-in-law Joe Hulon.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the BIG Creek Baptist Church (28 Big Creek Church Rd, Soso, MS 39480). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
