He was predeceased by: his parents, Ezell Plair and Sarah Plair; and his siblings, Ezell Plair Jr., Freddie Plair and Ernestine Deloney.
He is survived by: his sisters, Celie May Carpenter and Eddie May Gibson; his wife Augusta Hornesburger-Plair; his daughters, Uurissa Crowley (Durell) and Yvette Wilson; his grandchildren, Akala, Sariah and Kiefer; his great grandchild Levi; and his siblings, Jimmie Plair, Josephine Sudduth and Elma Jean Jackson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Viewing was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the West Memorial Funeral Home (103 Jefferson St, Starkville, MS 39759).
