He was predeceased by: his parents, Bennie Charles and Rose Katherine Keith (Harper); his sister Dale Keith; and his siblings-in-law, Jody Rivers, Earl Long and Eugenia Keith.
He is survived by: his wife Diane; his children, Emily Johnson (Andy) of Vernon, AL and Bennie Keith (Emily Ann) of Starkville; his grandchildren, Braxton, Eliza Johnson, Madison and Bryson Keith; his siblings, Gay Long of Hollandale, Harper Keith of Hollandale and Donna Wade (Thom) of Hollandale; and his siblings-in-law, Waymon Rivers (Carla) of Gravette, AR and Donna Ramey. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (607 University Dr, Starkville, MS 39759). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 15th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
He began his career at Delta Research Extension Center in Stoneville, MS; later transferring to serve at Mississippi State University with the Foundation Seed Service as Department Head.
