With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charlie W. Hairston of Starkville, Mississippi, born in Crawford, Mississippi, who passed away on March 23, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Roosevelt "Sam" Hairston and Lucy Mae Harris; his brother Willie Louis Hairston; and his stepmother Annie L. Hairston. He is survived by : his stepsister Asaleah Harris; his nieces and nephews, Felice Martin, Chanel Hairston, Brittany Black, Kenisha Screen, Denzel Hairston, Kelvin Bolden and Marshall Porter; his great-niece Abigail Black; and his great-nephews, Malachi and Matthew Screen. He is also survived by cousin, "Sister"; and other relatives and friends.
