He was predeceased by : his parents, Horace Allen and Virginia Wells Deas; his brother Horace Allen Deas, Jr.; and his brother-in-law Van C. Michael. He is survived by : his wife Babs; his sons, Donald Trent Deas of Madison, MS and David Reese Deas (Apryl) of Memphis, TN; his sister Anne Deas Michael of Madison, MS; his grandchildren, Watts Miller of Memphis, TN and Maggie Miller of Memphis, TN; his sister-in-law Mary Virginia Lessing (Warren) of Glen Gardner, NJ; his nieces, Christy Michael Howell (Barry) of Madison, MS and Melissa Anne Michael of Madison, MS; and his nephew Dean McDonald (Francesca) of Langhorne, PA..

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Episcopal Church of the Resurrection.
