She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Ronald Truhett and Ida Mae Joyner Truhett; her husband John Meador; and her brothers, Burnell Truhett, Manus Truhett and Austin Truhett.
She is survived by: her children, Lynn Welch (Henry) of Summit, MS and John Austin Meador (Nancy) of Starkville, MS; and her sister Carrie Frances Breazeale (O. C.) of Collinsville, MS. She is also survived by four grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
