It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobbie Jean Statham of Summit, Mississippi, who passed away on May 3, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Jacob Shelby and Bernice Denman Sartin; her husband R. Y. "Buck" Statham; her son William Bryant Statham; her granddaughter Kaitlin Matthew; her siblings, Modesta Gregory and J. W. Sartin; and her brother-in-law Chester L. Statham.

She is survived by : her children, Robert Y. "Robbie" Statham, Jr. (Jane) of Brookhaven, MS and Lisa Statham Matthew (Kevin) of Ponchatoula, LA; her grandchildren, Heather Statham Boyd (Alex), Shelby Statham and Morgan Pickard (Saul); her great grandchild Reeves Pickard; her sister Billie Faye Hinson of Natchez, MS; her sister-in-law Ann Statham of Clinton, MS; her close friends, Nelda Sibley, Mattie Rials, Anitra Williamson and Sandy; her adoptive daughters, Betsy Enochs, Pam Robinson, JoeAnn Rimes, Shirley Hunkapillar, Cathy Giacone, Ginger Smith, Sarah Holloway and Madeline Morris; and also, Lee Dell I'sola (Phil), Linda Epting (Jimmy) and Mac May (Ashley). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
