She was predeceased by : her husband Alexander Carl Gambrell, Sr.; her parents, Robert Clarence Windham and Alma Jane Hancock Windham; and her siblings, Charles Edwin Windham, James Robert "Bill" Windham, Sr. and Mary Lou Windham Yelverton.

She is survived by : her son Alexander Carl Gambrell, Jr. (Micki) of Atlanta, GA; her granddaughters, Jennifer Gambrell Kerrigan (Joe) of London England and Claire Gambrell Khachatryan (Robert) of Denver, CO; her sister-in-law Vera Windham of Taylorsville; her niece Cynthia Boykin of Brandon; and her nephews, James Robert "Bubbie" Windham, Jr. of Jackson and George Windham of Taylorsville. She is also survived by other family members and friends.
