She is survived by : her husband Rudy Pierce of Taylorsville, MS; her stepson Jeremy Pierce (Robin); her granddaughter Marlee Pierce; and her brother Joe Light. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and extended family.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
