He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Hancock and Bessie Hancock of Mize, MS; his wife Betty Waters Hancock; his son Michael Hancock; and his siblings, Leonard, Lamar, Percy, Oree, Wendell and Elaine Martin.

He is survived by: his daughters, Shelli Campbell (Jason) and Beth Pardue (Rodger); and his grandchildren, Matthew, Katelyn Campbell, Aubrey and Bryant Pardue.
