She was predeceased by: her husband Leon Wempren; her sons, Timmy Jernigan, James Richard Jernigan and Jeffery W. Jernigan; her parents, Lula D. Matthews and Louie P. Matthews; and her sister Louise Jernigan.
She is survived by: her son Joseph Randy Jernigan; and her daughter-in-law Betty Jernigan. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.
