He was predeceased by : his former life partner Nancy Ruth Boone Puckett; his parents, Harvey Ashland and Angie Etta Puckett; and his siblings, H. D. Puckett, Lamar Puckett, Melvin Puckett, Rayford Puckett, Bonnie Jean Hudnall, Dora Alice Edwards, Lois Cherry and Annie Ruth Eldridge Harbour.
He is survived by : his wife Jean Howell Puckett; his children, Robert L. Puckett, Bay St, Rubie P. Johns (Andy) and Ruthie P. LeMaire (Frenchy); his sister JoAnna P. Boren; and his siblings-in-law, Lidell Howell (Deanie), Charles Howell of Caves Springs, GA, David Boone (Martha), Billy Boone, Clinton and Francis Simpson. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
