It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Phillip Shelton (Toomsuba, Mississippi), who passed away on January 8, 2020, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his siblings, Houston L. Shelton, Jr., Irene Howard and Sarah Wilkins. He is survived by : his siblings, Henry W. Shelton (Johnnie Mae), Charlie Shelton (Tina), Wanda White and Daniel Shelton (Dianne). He is also survived by two aunts; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The family requests memorials be made to The Gideons International or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in lieu of flowers.
