He was predeceased by : his father Sammie Gee. He is survived by : his wife Glenda Ware Gee of Tutwiler, MS; his children, Johnson Phillip Gee of Atlanta, GA, Holly Gee Higginbotham (Michael) of Hernando, MS and Hilary Gee Cook (Brad) of Clarksdale, MS; his mother Lucy Wong Gee; his sisters, JoAnn Gee Ledbetter (Chris) of Southaven, MS and Grace Gee of Tutwiler, MS; and his grandchildren, Lyndsey Kate Cook, Olivia Chase Higginbotham, Madison Avery Cook and Graycin Dawn Higginbotham.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to First Baptist Church of Tutwiler, P.O. Box 337, Tutwiler, MS 38963.
