She was predeceased by: her parents, Idell Bennett and Daniel Bennett; her husband Daniel Pittman; her son-in-law Wilton Hughes; her grandson Donald Hughes; and her siblings, Dewitt Bennett and Ruth Smith.
She is survived by: her daughters, Glyndon Hughes and Sherry Kennedy; her siblings, Nell Rimes, Sue Duncan and Sammy Bennett; and her grandchildren, Ronald Hughes (Sue), Timothy Hughes (Melissa) and LaDona Peterson (Todd). She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
