He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Surber and Jimmie Inez Surber; his siblings, Raymond Surber and Ruby Clayton; his daughter Janice Lynn Surber; and his siblings-in-law, Bill Clayton, Aubrey G. Balch, Ann Surber, Lou Suber and Nancy Ewton Mr.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Sue Balch Surber; and his children, Alan Surber (Amy), Pamela Ann Shepherd (Tommy) and Victoria Leigh Kile (Ken). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be at Lexie Baptist Church on Saturday, August 25, 2018 from 10:00 A.M. until service time at 11:00 A.M. In lieu of flower make donation to St. Jude Children's Hospital in his memory.
