He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucy McDaniel and Carmen McDaniel; his wife Mary Joyce McDaniel; his brother Stanley McDaniel; his sisters-in-law, Marie McDaniel and Mary Lou McDaniel; his daughter-in-law Cindy McDaniel; his brother-in-law Benny Baughman; his nephews, Carmen Joe McDaniel and Kenny Stelly; and also Leroy Wallace.
He is survived by: his sons, David McDaniel (Natalie Magee) and Dwayne McDaniel (Theresa); his grandchildren, Brandie Rushing (Andy) and Dale McDaniel (Ashley Dunnam); his great grandchildren, Haylee Rushing, Hallee Rushing, Hanalee Rushing and Baby Brantley McDaniel; his stepgreat-grandchild Banyon Dunnam; and his siblings, Toney McDaniel, Ann Baughman, Tommy McDaniel (Dorothy) and Dickey McDaniel (Jo Ann). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends.
