She was predeceased by: her parents, Audrey Fortenberry and Lemmie Fortenberry; her husband J. B. Fortenberry; and her sister Nellene Corbitt. She is survived by: her sons, Paul Fortenberry (Stacye) and Barrette Fortenberry; her granddaughters, Hillary Thoele (Zak) and Keely Fortenberry; and her great grandchild Myles Thoele. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends.
