He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Rushing and Ola Mae Rushing; his wife Jo Alice Segrest Rushing; and his siblings, Mamie Lee Morgan, Lucille Du'Conge, Hubert Rushing, Robert Frank Rushing, Melvin Rushing and John Rushing.
He is survived by: his sons, Jeff Rushing (Evelyn), Clifton Rushing, Jr. (Donna), Kevin Rushing (Belinda) and Victor Rushing; and his siblings, Mary Katherine Michaelson, Patsy Adkerson and James E Rushing (Ed). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
