He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow W. Earnest and Eula Welch Earnest; his son William Glenn Earnest, Jr. (Erin Beth) of Bruce; his granddaughter Susan Ray Cruse; and his brothers, Wayne, Woodrow Jr. and Harold Earnest.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Prescott Earnest; his children, Sue Cruse of Okolona, Kam Earnest of Okolona, Jennifer Worthey (Jeff) of Okolona, Valerie Berry (Tim) of Houlka and Pete Earnest (Sissy) of Algoma; and his sister Doris. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
