She was predeceased by : her parents, Lester B. Peters and Anita Goode Peters; and her brother Dr. Randall Peters. She is survived by : her close friend Pat McCullor of Tupelo; her godchildren, Matthew Sanford and Stacey Sanford D'Emidio (Marco); her siblings, Dr. Palmer Peters (Marilyn) of Huntsville, AL and Janice Peters Love (Gary) of Athens, GA; and also, Nico and Beatrice "Bea" Buchanan of Shannon. She is also survived by 6 nieces, 2 nephews, and 13 great nieces and nephews.
