It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Hilderbrand (Vicksburg, Mississippi), who passed away on October 29, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Ralph Hilderbrand; her parents, Orie Edward Hunter and Vera Belle Dearman Hunter; and her siblings, Dewey, Clyde, Orie Jr., Joe, Margaret, Claudia and Dianna.
She is survived by: her children, Celeste Moody (Johnny), Cindi Newton (Timmy), Jim Tucker (Sonya Lee) and Justin (Tammy); and her siblings, Shirley Cleveland, Don Hunter (Eloise), Leonard Hunter (Susan) and John Hunter (Debbie). She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Glenwood Funeral Home (145 US-80, Vicksburg, MS 39180). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Utica Cemetery.
