It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gene Austin Pigott Sr. of Walthall, Mississippi, born in Tylertown, Mississippi, who passed away on February 20, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Bonnie M. Pigott; and his nephew Craig Morgan. He is survived by: his children, Jeanna Terrebonne (Warren) and Austin Pigott (Becky); his sisters, Faye Walters and Shirley Curtis; his grandchildren, Jynipher Ryleigh Pigott, Victoria Lacey Morgan (Brady) and Brittaney Reshae Adams (Robby); his great grandchildren, Ian Ray Morgan, Korey Elizabeth Adams and Georgia Grace Adams; his nieces, Robin Phillips (James) and Beth Alford (Danny); and his nephew David Walters (Palma). He is also survived by great nieces and nephews; and numerous other family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials be made in Gene's honor to Asbury Hospice House, 304 S 40th Ave, Hattiesburg, MS 39402.
