She was predeceased by : her parents, Houston Greenwood Vaughn and Jenny Lou Vaughn (Simpson); her husband James S. Allen of Coffeeville, MS; and her siblings, Judy Lantrip (Vaughn), Teresia Olivis (Vaughn) and David Vaughn.

She is survived by : her sons, Marc and Will (Tammy).
