He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Carr and Elizabeth Rogers. He is survived by: his children, Jimmy Dean Rogers of Thaxton, MS and Christy Hester of Water Valley, MS; and his siblings, Teddy Simmons of Madison, MS, Geraldine Pullen of Batesville, MS, Sarah Jaudon of Charleston, MS and Janie Lou Criddle of Isola, MS. He is also survived by three grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
