He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Pinion Sharpe; his children, Luann Sharpe and Wiley Clayton Sharpe, Jr.; and his siblings, Beatrice Jones, Harris Sharpe, Charles Sharp and Billy Lockley.
He is survived by: his children, Betty Sharp Reves (Sam) of Abbeville, MS, Patti Fitzpatrick (Brian) of Lexington, KY and Michael Glenn Sharpe (Marla) of Ashland, KY; his sister Ruth Coleman of Pelahatchie, MS; his grandchildren, Belle Sharpe, Lauren Tolbert Russell (Chris), Jonathan Tolbert, Jared Tolbert, Jacob Preston and Molly Preston; and his great grandchild Michael Skyler Preston.
