He is survived by : his wife Ruth Harris of Waynesboro, MS; his son Chris Harris of Daphne, AL; his stepsons, Bo Beard (Delaine) and Mike Beard (Barbara); his daughters, Beth Cohen of Asheville, NC and Amy Wilkes of Asheville, NC; and his granddaughter Elizabeth Brown of Asheville, NC. He is also survived by several step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren.
