She was predeceased by : her parents, Floyd Odell Toomey and Maggie Edmonds Toomey; her husband Roy N. Murphy, Sr.; her son Roy N. "Pete" Murphy, Jr.; and her siblings, Bruce Toomey, Odell Toomey and Emma Jean Mosley.
She is survived by : her children, Loucinda "Cindy" Thompson of Hemet, CA, Nellie M. Smith (Phil) of Bucks, AL, James C. Murphy (Donna) of Aquilla, AL and Floyd A. Murphy (Wanda) of Tillman's Corner, AL; her brothers, T. P. Toomey (Sue) of Saraland, AL and David Toomey (Lillie Mae) of Saraland, AL; and her sister-in-law Mae Helen Toomey of Saraland, AL. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren.
