She was predeceased by : her parents, Colin Orlandus Gilbert and Ethel Estelle Jordan Gilbert; her son Gilbert Brian Ramey; and her siblings, Franklin Gilbert, Wendell Gilbert, George Gilbert and Alida Gilbert Lodge.

She is survived by : her husband Herbert E. Ramey, Jr.; her children, Kimberly Ruth Ramey Ford (Michael Alan Ford) of Waynesboro, MS, Herbert Bradford Ramey (Charlene Kittrell Ramey) of Purvis, MS and Heather Ramey Haley; her grandchildren, Herbert Taylor Ramey (Kristen Fortenberry Ramey), Nathan Ramey Ford, Charles Bradford Ramey (Laken Lowery Ramey), Holly Gilbert Ford, Maggie Ann Ford, John Patrick Haley, IV, Samuel Gilbert Haley, Lily Elizabeth Ramey and Ramey Elizabeth Haley; and her great grandchild Charlie Kate Ramey.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to the First Baptist Church of Waynesboro.
