She was predeceased by : her parents, Asa L. Freeman and Mable Freeman; her former husband Roscoe Cochran; her husband Ellis C. Britton, Sr.; her siblings, James Freeman, Carlton Ray Freeman, Asa Gene Freeman, Louie Allen Freeman, Latrell Freeman, Angie Lou Freeman and Anna Laura Saltalmachia; and her grandsons, Adam Cochran and James Cochran.

She is survived by : her children, Ronnie Cochran (Paula) of Clara, MS, Larry Cochran (Ann) of Clara, MS, Sherry Cooley (Jerry) and Marilyn Childers (Bill); her step-children, Creight Britton, Sam Britton, Fred Britton, Eulon Britton and Katherine Barker of Laurel, MS; and her brother Jerry Freeman (Janet). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 9 step grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren.
