She was predeceased by : her parents, Lemuel Clarence Tate and Velma Dixon Tate; her husband Buford E. Perry; and her siblings, Lemuel Tate, William Tate, Darvin Ray Tate and Vernice Hopkins.

She is survived by : her brother Ricky Tate of Millry, AL; and her step-sons, Ray Perry of Clara, MS. and Terrell Perry of Clara, MS..
