She was predeceased by : her parents, Margaret and Jack; her husband Dr. Gerald B. Cole; and her brother Pete. She is survived by : her son James A. Cole (Ann) of Memphis, Tennessee; her granddaughters, Callaway Cole of Atlanta, Channell Cole of Memphis and Jacqueline Cole of Memphis; and her sister Kay.

In lieu of flowers, donations and memorials can be made to The University of Mississippi or to St. Jude's Children Hospital.
