She was predeceased by: her husband James Thomas "Shorty" Brown, Sr.; her parents, Evans Lee "Tom" Stokley and Annie Mae Stokley; and her siblings, David Lee Stokley, Jimmy Roe Stokley, Tommy Wayne Stokley, James Evans Stokley and Glenn Dean Walley.
She is survived by: her children, Jimmy Byron "Bud" Brewer of Beat Four, MS, Ricky Dale "Jug" Brown, Sr. (Paula), James Thomas (Brown, Jr.), Tina Telisa Brown Snellgrove of Beat Four, MS and Pamela Denise "Pam" Brown Canady (Joe) of Beat Four, MS; her brother Byron Duane Stokley (Karon); and her grandchildren, Chelsea, Caitlin, Jeremy, Brandi, Michael, Chastity, Stephanie, Paige, Olivia, Ricky, Jr., Christopher and Candace. She is also survived by 18 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren.
