We are sad to announce that on October 18, 2019, at the age of 83, Edward L. Lyon (West Point, Mississippi) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Garland Lee and Mattye Lee Gilliland Lyon; and his brothers-in-law, B. F. Jarman and James Hardister. He is survived by: his wife Brucie D. Lyon; his children, Kathy Comer (Danny), Tricia Hemphill and Gil Lyon (Cynthia) of West Point; his grandchildren, Mackenzie Hemphill of Jackson, Anna Grace Hemphill of West Point, Daniel Comer of West Point, Mattye Hemphill of West Point and Edward Cooper Lyon of West Point; his sister Hannah L. Jarman of Greenwood; his nephews, Frank Jarman of Madison and George Jarman (Buffee) of Greenwood; his great-niece Mary Hannah Jarman of Greenwood; and his siblings-in-law, Patsy Hardister of Brownsville, TN, Bill Doughty (Reta) of Tupelo and Dr. Julian Doughty (Barbara) of Tuscaloosa, AL. He is also survived by Cousins and other extended family.
