She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Bailey Bell, Sr. and Odra Lee Jenkins Bell; her spouse J. C. Posey; her former husband Jack Dale Brazil; her son Jay Posey; and her brother Joe Bailey Bell, Jr..
She is survived by: her son Joe Brazil (Bessie Kay) of West Point; her grandchildren, Jennifer Ready (Rod) of Weeping Water, Jacob Brazil of Ft. Stockton and Joshua Brazil (Jordan) of Omaha; her great grandchildren, Kayley Slack (Kyle) of Bellevue, Madison Godek of LaVista and Michael Godek of Weeping Water; and her sister Tawanna Tex Caplan of Mt. Vernon.
