She was predeceased by : her parents, Albert Johnson and Laprella Johnson of Carnes, MS.; her husband Charles S. Adams; and her sisters, Lucile Seal, Louise Scott, Lucy Johnson and Luemma Ladner.

She is survived by : her children, Clara Shafer (Dave) of Wiggins, MS and Johnnie Sanders (Vicki) of Ellendale, DE; her sisters, Luella Breland of Perkinston, MS and Lucresia Meadows (J. B.) of Wiggins, MS; her grandsons, Johnnnie Sanders (Amanda) of Abita Springs, LA and Sean Sanders; and her great grandchild Lance M. Sanders. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
