It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Kennedy Stringer of Winona, Mississippi, who passed away on January 11, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Carolyn Kennedy Stringer to pay them a last tribute.

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Thomas Gaddis Kennedy (Tom) and Anna Mai Pickens Kennedy; her former life partner James Dudley Stringer (Jimmy); her husband Jimmy "Dud" Stringer; her children, Ken Stringer (Hallye) of Madison and Pam Corban (Jim) of Starkville; her grandchildren, Mitch Stringer (Kelly) of Madison, Jimmy Stringer (Frances) of Falls Church, VA and Lura Jordan (Kyle) of Starkville; and her great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Harmon Stringer of Madison and Price Stringer of Falls Church.

Due to the current Covid situation a graveside service will be held Friday, January 14th at 10:30 AM at Oakwood Cemetery in Winona with Rev Rusty Keen and Rev Chad Bowen officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial gifts in Carolyn's name be made to Moore Memorial UMC, P.O. Box 467, Winona, MS 38967, or Friends of Immanuel, c/o Barbara Pittman, 147 Bethlehem Community Road, Winona, MS 38967.
