We are sad to announce that on July 26, 2025, Emmett Joseph Chassaniol Jr. of Winona, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mamie Birdsong and Emmett Joseph Chassaniol, Sr.; and his sister Rowan Chassaniol Quave (Gerald). He is survived by: his wife Lydia Graves Chassaniol; his daughters, Mary Rae Cawood (Trinity) and Mamie Chassaniol Taylor (Randy); his sister Emily Handwerker (Henry "Buzz"); and his grandchildren, Connor, Ayla Cawood, Vaiden and Briggs Taylor. He is also survived by cousins, nephews, and nieces.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Wilson and Knight Funeral Home (910 US-82, Greenwood, MS 38930). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial offerings may be made to Winona Christian School or Jackson Academy.
