With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Ouida Lamkin Bennett of Duck Hill, Mississippi, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Ouida Lamkin left this world on June 11, 2025 at the age of 92, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Harvey and Stella Mae Jacks Lamkin; her husband James Terry "Red" Bennett; her siblings, Margaret Fultz, Peggy Sue Sasser, Mary Ward Lamkin, Nathan Lamkin and John Lamkin; and her son-in-law Michael "Mike" Ware.
She is survived by: her children, Elva Jean Nichols (Donnie Taylor) of Coffeeville, Stella Annette Sussex (Mark), Melinda Carol Ware of Tupelo, Terry Bennett (Melinda Ann) of Kilmichael and John A. Bennett (Vicky) of Maben; and her siblings, Pat Wagner (Duane) and Joe Lamkin. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the New Hope Methodist Church. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
