In loving memory of Bettye M. Sumrall of Woodville, Mississippi, born in Natchez, Mississippi, who departed this world on April 27, 2024 at the age of 80. She was predeceased by : her parents, Grady McCurley and Irene Murray McCurley; her sisters, Patsy McCurley and Abbie Herrington; and her niece Patti Curry.

She is survived by : her husband William D.; her children, Dr. William David Sumrall and Rebecca Delatte (Donnie); her grandchildren, William, Hutson, Sarah Sumrall, Caroline and Cole Delatte; her sister Gloria Hebert; her niece Jennifer Hebert; and her nephews, James, Bud, Bob Herrington and Tab Barbay.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Woodville Methodist Church (909 Main St, Woodville, MS 39669). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested at Wilkinson County Christian Academy or the Woodville Methodist Church.
