With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Schoonover Pittman of Yazoo City, Mississippi, who passed away on March 16, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Lindley D. Schoonover and Helen Holaday Schoonover; her children, Harrison Victor Pittman, III and Laura Allison Pittman of Madison County; her sisters, Joan Holloway (Benoit) and Madge Fletcher (Jim); her husband Dr. Harrison V. Pittman, Jr.; and her sister Lynne Schoonover Harris (John Ed). She was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to organizations that serve children or animals in need.
