He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert "Bud" and Margaret Ewalt (Owen); and his stepfather David Schwartz. He is survived by: his significant other Debbie Kucaba of Alzada, MT; his daughters, Sophia (Matthew) of Houston, TX and Sara; his grandson Arthur Behrmann; his sisters, Celia Taylor of Sacramento, CA and Anita Burnaford (Geoff) of Alameda, CA; his half-brother Mark Schwartz of California; and his children, Sophie, Casketbearers, Matthew Behrmann Guy Howell, Sam Ewalt Mark Leverington of Bozeman, MT and Dave Grace Jack Owen. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
