He is survived by: his wife Josephine; his children, Ann of Roanoke, VA and Joe (Rebecca) of Mukilteo, WA; his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Henry and Julia; his sister Rita Clancy of Valley City, ND; and his siblings-in-law, Lester Colvin of Fargo, ND, Veronica Oberst, Rose Kraft, Marian Wandler, Florence Bjorke and Donald Doll.
