He was predeceased by : his parents, Harold John Lair and Adeline Eleanor Switzer Lair; his sister Patricia Johnson; his parents-in-law, Nels and Eleanor Danielson; and his brother-in-law Bob MacNamara.

He is survived by : his wife Bobbie; his son Doug; his daughter-in-law Mary; his daughter Lisa; his son-in-law Pat Beddow; his daughter Lynn; his grandchildren, Patrick Beddow (Kayla), Christopher Beddow (Dora Nagy), Devon Beddow, Grant Lair, Abby Lair (Jake Ahmann), Andrew Lair and George Beddow; his great grandchildren, James and Claire Beddow; his siblings, Darlene Mullen (Nebraska), Penny Malburg (Texas) and Dana Lair (New Mexico); his sister-in-law Shirley MacNamara of McLeod; and also, Proverbs, Gale Lair (Dad) and Papa. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and the greatest friends.
