She was predeceased by: her parents, Christine Viets and Johann Viets; her spouse Alva Deegan; and her siblings, Johnny Viets and Kathleen Lindner.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kathy McDonald (Scott) of Helena and Kristy Schmeichel (Chuck) of Jamestown, ND; her grandchildren, Shannon Alwyn (Olivier) of Mountain View, CA, Megan Folsom (Michael) of Helena, Amie Schmeichel of Los Angeles, CA and Kayla Schmeichel of Jamestown, ND; her great grandchild Carter Alwyn; and her sisters, Betty Monroe of Billings and Leona Flattum of Billings. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the PMC Cardiac Rehabilitation facility, PO Box 1228, Big Timber, MT 59011 or a memorial of your choice.
