He was predeceased by: his grandson Zackary Gierke. He is survived by: his granddaughters, Katelyn and Melissa; his wife Shirley; his daughters, Gaylene Veches (Tim), Jolene Gierke (Scott) and Joylene Koerber (Kevin); and his friend Pastor Gary. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
