He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Deans and Marie Deans (Hill). He is survived by: his daughter Kimberly Erbacher (John); his grandchildren, Emily, Josh, Zac and Ben of Billings, MT; his siblings, Dennis Deans (Janet) of Santa Clarita, CA, Bill Deans, Joe Deans (Myrna) and Jeannie Ericsson (Calvin) of Lemmon, SD; and his aunts, Loretta Buckles (Hill) of Rapid City, SD, Linda Deans of Santa Ana, CA and Kay Hill of Sacramento, CA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established.
