He was predeceased by : his parents, Edward Michel and Helen Michel; and his daughter Cheryl. He is survived by : his wife Carol Jones of Billings; his children, Mark Michel (Wendi) of Cody, Wyoming and Dyann Romeijn of Billings; his grandchildren, Micayla Macks (Tony), Ella Romeijn of Billings, Emily Vigil of Hillsboro, Oregon, Ethan Vigil, Chase Keller (Caitlin) of Worland and Jacob Keller (Samantha) of Powell, Wyoming.; his siblings, Don Michel (Del), Judy Strauch (Jack) of Worland, Wyoming and Nancy Myers of Stillwater, Minnesota; and his nephew Dennis Michel. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren; and many special nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church (1500 Circle Rd, Worland, WY 82401).
