He was predeceased by : his parents, Fred Schmitt and Lydia Hemmrick Schmitt; and his wife Joan. He is survived by : his sons, Douglas, Glenn and Christopher; his brother Alton of Kearney; and his grandchildren, Greggory, Brendan, Samantha and Jacob.
