She is survived by: her pet Patches; her stepsisters, Penny, Judy, Peggy and Pam; her stepfather Flynn; her former husband Richard DeZeng Pierce; her pets, Pyrenees and Scotty; her husband Ben Peters; her son-in-law Mike; her siblings, Pam Kelly (Bob), Judy Duggan and Phil White; her children, Kathleen Cashell (Michael), Ronald Pierce (Susan), Randy Pierce (Laura Jean) and Robert Pierce (Sue); her son-in-law Tim Foust; her grandchildren, Courtney LeProwse (Danielle) of Jesse Pierce, JR, Katie, Shawn Pierce, Adam, Amber, Tyler Pierce, Shawna Foust, Joshua and Dedrick Selensky; and her close friends, Kate Smith, Nila, Keith Ruckdaschel, Judy and Roger Chadwick.
However, over the months, her cognitive powers continued to decline until she finally lost the struggle with Alzheimer's.
